Below - Drug Store Cowboy. Frontier Interactive's entry for the annual Scarecrow Contest on Main Street in Medford Village. Our entry was a
political statement of sorts. Several oversized chain drug stores have been built in the township and have become a symbol of overdevelopment. On the shirt of the cowboy is a parody of the township logo. The
parody contains a line art image of the Eckerd's Drug Store on Stokes Road surrounded by the text, "Now a Town of Drug Stores". The contest is sponsored by the Historic Medford Village Business Association.
Needless to say, Drug Store Cowboy only garnered two points from the up-tight judges. Apparently, The Philadelphia Inquirier liked it more than the judges and pictured it in the newspaper.
