!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! New features have been added to your web-based email and server login administration system (aka iManager). You can access iManager at PS. Two Frontier Interactive clients used iManager successfully
while abroad on recent business trips. John Golden, ORA Inc., viewed and sent email using iManager during a February trip to India and Singapore. Greg Palmer, Multifruit USA, used iManager during a March 2002 trip to Europe.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ The series of 360-degree panorama images we completed in September 2001 are now online at the Camden Riversharks' web site
Campbell Field is a
beautiful place to watch a professional baseball game and the panorama VRs show the spectators enjoying the game with views of Philadelphia and Ben Franklin Bridge. Quicktime and Java versions were created. We handled all the photography and
programming in-house and furnished the team with PC and Mac formatted CD-ROMS containing high-resolution & low-resolution panoramas, and static panorama pictures of six locations around Campbell Field. All shots were taken while a
game against the Somerset Patriots was in progress making this project one of the most complex and ambitious efforts undertaken for a stadium VRs (of which there are many on the net). Typically, stadium VRs are done while the stadium is empty.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Start thinking about how you collect, store, and use client or customer
information via your corporate or commercial web site. We are in the midst of research and analysis of Privacy Policy Statements, Statements of Use, and Copyright Notifications in preparation for a new range of services we plan make
available for purchase during Q2 of 2002. It will include services like conducting web site audits; tailoring html templates for privacy policy, statement of use, copyright notices, and other content areas; and related consulting. We will be
partnering with legal professionals and network security experts in this area. Here's something to get you thinking: Failure to disclose current practices can be costly in a lawsuit judgment. Recent settlements (State of New Jersey vs.
ToySmart.com, for example) have established the precedent that not adhering to stated privacy policies will result in fines and injunctions. For more, check @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ For our clients who administer their own online merchant systems, here is a simple and worthwhile thing to do on a regular basis. I recommend deleting old shopping carts and packing data files at the end of the month when I am batching
(then deleting) customer orders. Here's how: At your merchant administrative panel for your store, click on Utilities > Delete Carts. By doing this, you delete unused shopping carts that were initiated by site visitors who did not
complete the order process (for whatever reason). After you delete the carts, then click on Utilities > Pack Data Files to compress your merchant system's files. Your site visitors will appreciate a responsive merchant system that doesn't
keep 'em waiting! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recently attended a workshop on High
Technology Crime conducted by the New Jersey State Police. I came away with two main points: First, parents need to set limitations on what their children are doing online. I have extra brochures written by the High Technology Crimes and
Criminal Investigations Unit for you. I can send, email me. Furthermore, many of the concerns parents face should also concern business owners about their employees. Second, because law enforcement is busy investigating child
exploitation cases, few resources remain to track and prosecute crimes against businesses like theft of data by hackers entering your network via a web security hole. So this imbalance in where the resources are devoted is bad news for
business owners like you and me for we will shoulder the burden of time and expense to keep systems secure. Check out the New Jersey State Police site for online resources at: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Seems like there's always changes here and it's true. A year ago, I would have recommended different strategies for getting listed. Here's a brief summary, please call or email me directly to discuss modifications to your Sponsored
Links Program that we manage for you. If your product has worldwide appeal, there are new and low-cost ways to generate inquiries and orders in Europe and Germany specifically. We have established accounts with these engine databases and
have monitored effectiveness. There are multiple engine tools/services, call for details. You must be willing to ship overseas, of course. Google.com has modified its Adwords program to resemble Overture's click-thru model instead of
the gross impressions model (which I now don't recommend). Pros & Cons seen as we have monitored this new Adwords Select program: Google is setting a minimum sliding scale for bids, starts at 5-cents but they can move it up depending on
search term volume. Bad. Account data interface is clumsy and not downloadable into a spreadsheet. Bad. Search term bids are instantly online and reviewed later. Really Good. Search Term bids are subject to removal if search
volume is low. Bad, especially if you are bidding on your own trade name, for example. Our online site promotion tutorial can be viewed at http://www.frontieria.com/html/sitepromo.html
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you hear about or see an episode of "the Osbournes" in which cameras eavesdrop on
Ozzy Osbourne and family. I mean, this is the show. I watched parts of an episode. Is it me or is "the Osbournes" the real-life equivalent of "the Simpsons"? Compare the characters in each show it's a perfect mirror of one another. For
starters, there's Ozzy By the way, we retail an Ozzy Osbourne autographed figurine and plate collection manufactured by Gartlan USA at End of Issue.
